Gareth has worked in the hairdressing industry for 25 years and is the Managing Director of Good Salon Guide and since March 2023 is also the CEO / Registrar of the Hair and Barber Council.

Working alongside politicians and the civil service to lobby for our sector the Hair and Barber Council's mandate is to amend the current voluntary Act of Parliament to that of mandatory and Gareth is fully committed to making sure our industry receives the respect and professionalism it deserves.

Part of this process is to make the Hair and Barber Council 'fit for the fight' and so Gareth is creating the processes and infrastructure around regulation to not only prove that it is needed but that we will be stronger with mandatory regulation.

Caroline Larissey is a highly respected and experienced professional, currently employed as the Chief Executive at the National Hair and Beauty Federation (NHBF), the largest UK trade association for hairdressing, barbers, beauty, and aesthetics businesses. Caroline Larissey is also Vice President at the Federation of Holistic Therapists, the largest professional association for therapists, with thousands of members specialising in everything from sports and remedial therapies to complementary healthcare and holistic beauty treatments.

Caroline is an expert in her field, with a distinguished career spanning over 35 years. Her extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance, industry best practices, quality management systems, and standards has earned her a reputation as a dedicated and results-driven individual.
